62 countries including Malaysia have committed to participate in WWF’s Earth Hour in 2009. This will be the first time Malaysia officially takes part in Earth Hour and our Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Ahmad Badawi has indicated his support and endorsement of Malaysia’s participation.

The campaign, which hopes to reach out to more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world, encourage individuals, businesses and governments to switch off lights for just one hour on Saturday March 28, 2009 at 8:30pm to convey their support for action on climate change. Cities already committed to Earth Hour include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Rome, Manila, Oslo, Cape Town, Warsaw, Lisbon, Singapore, Istanbul, Mexico City, Toronto, Dubai and Copenhagen.

Jared Padalecki will return for Season 4 of Supernatural. As fans of the show will know, Season 3 ended with a big cliffhanger: Dean Winchester went to hell. That had many people asking if Jensen Ackles would be back for Season 4 - well, he will be.

With filming set to start in early July, there are more questions than answers for us all. Eric Kripke told TVGuide that he had to send Dean to hell, in part because everyone expected him to be safe. What happens to Dean in hell (he’ll be there a while) and how he get out are huge themes for Season 4. When he does get out, a lot will have changed, including his relationship with Sam (Jared Padalecki). As Dean struggles to recollect his time in hell, he also has to struggle to reconnect with his life.

The writers are excited about the season and all the plot twists in store - such as, will Sam keep his promise and not try to test some of his demon-fighting powers?

Though Brainiac's demise ultimately lifted their trances, Chloe was soon arrested for hacking into federal databases – just as she was about to respond to a marriage proposal from Jimmy Olsen. Meanwhile, in a tearful, videotaped good-bye, Lana told Clark that she was leaving Smallville and his life forever, encouraging Clark to fulfill his destiny – something he wouldn't be able to accomplish with her in his world. While one chapter of his life seemingly came to an end, another was about to begin. With fewer commitments tethering Clark to the farm, Lois Lane asked him to apply for a job opening at the Daily Planet.

Season Eight begins a few weeks after the Fortress' icy collapse, as a LuthorCorp Arctic excavation team investigates Lex's whereabouts. Members of the Justice League reunite in the search for Clark, who has been rendered powerless by the fall of the Fortress. As the season unfolds, Clark's new position at the Daily Planet will mean working across the desk from Lois. The two will be forced to team up to cover Metropolis' most pressing goings on. Sometimes it's Lois herself who becomes Clark's biggest obstacle, especially when he's on a deadline. Soulful and mysterious, Bloome has demons of his own. 1: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (July)

Harry Potter fans will already have a fairly good idea of what happens in this, the sixth film in the hugely popular boy wizard film adapted from JK Rowling’s all-conquering books. It was an early script draft of this film that prompted Rowling to ‘out’ Dumbledore while promoting the final Potter book

2: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (May)

Hugh Jackman’s back for an X-Men prequel set 17 years before the action of the first movie.The film traces the early career of Logan, the indestructible mutant who will one day be X-Man Wolverine. Cameos from future X-Men and the chance to see how Logan acquired his deadly claws and curious hairdo give the film a geek power that will set the internet buzzing ahead of the premiere. It will be interesting to see how this performs after the third X-Men movie was seen by many to be something of a mis-step in the X-franchise

3: Terminator Salvation (June)

The long-awaited ‘future war’ segment of the Terminator saga, previously only hinted at in the first three movies, dominates proceedings in Charlie’s Angels director McG’s bold reawakening of the killer robot franchise. Christian Bale, fresh from his spectacular triumph as one fanboy hero in Dark Knight essays another - John Connor, charismatic leader of the anti-Skynet forces who the Terminators have been trying to eliminate for the last three films. Roland Kickinger will be the principal Terminator this because Arnold Schwarzenegger is said to be too busy running California to appear as the iconic cyborg killing machine and Anton Yelchin, Sam Worthington and Helena Bonham-Carter are along for the ride.

A CGI mock-B-movie with a distinctly eclectic cast list - Kiefer Sutherland, Hugh Laurie, and Stephen Colbert lend their voices., Monsters v Aliens will go some of the way towards sating the enormous demand for a second Incredibles movie. Reese Witherspoon provides the voice of a young Californian woman who grows to gigantic size, after a freak meteorite encounter, and is recruited into a secret agency of super-freaks who are sent to battle a gigantic alien robot

5: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (June)

The inevitable sequel to last year’s surprise hit features more action, more laughs, and more shape-shifting robots. 6: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (July)

Playing fast and loose with the accepted chronology of the age of the dinosaurs this third instalment of the CGI school holiday favourite has the primitive mammal heroes of the first two films somehow getting mixed up with a ‘lost world’ of surviving dinosaurs trapped beneath a glacier. John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, and Denis Leary provide voices for the computer created critters. Certain to both entertain undemanding under-fives and infuriate palaeontologists in equal measure, this has the air of being the last film in the series.

7: G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (August)

G.I Joe is a bigger name in the US: the toy line that we called Action Man gave rise to a popular 1980s cartoon series and long-running comics franchise. Without the solid bed of nostalgia that will give it a running start in its homeland, the movie’s appeal over here stands or falls on its star director – Stephen Sommers from the enjoyably silly Mummy films - and stellar cast, including Christopher Eccleston and Sienna Miller as well as Sommers’s old Mummy pals Brendan Fraser and Arnold Vosloo. If August 2009 is as much of a washout as 2008’s, summer legions of staycationers will be flocking to cinemas looking for some easygoing escapism, and this might just be it.

8: Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian (May)

A repeat of 2006’s ‘museum comes to life’ cameo jamboree with more or less everyone except Robin Williams back at the end of May to ham it up for the entertainment of young and undemanding cinemagoers. The film will need something very special in terms of advance reviews to give it any commercial visibility in what promises to be a very busy month at the movies. Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson and Ricky Gervais are already crossing their fingers.

9: Spy Hunter

Video game adaptations are rarely beloved of the cinema cognoscenti and there’s little likelihood that Spy Hunter will break that honourable tradition. The game is a fairly routine ‘heavily armed spy and supercar’ adventure distinguished only by a voice and motion capture contribution from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who, one imagines, must be favourite to play the lead in what we can safely assume will be an undemanding popcorner. Englishman Paul WS Anderson, of Alien vs Predator and Resident Evil fame, is slated to direct.

10: Planet 51 (November)

A classic 1950s B-Movie plot – alien lands among the white picket fences of a fearful, simple small-town community. The twist is that the alien is an Earthly astronaut and the small town folk are little green men. A promising CG-animated caper for younger cinemagoers in the 2009 Christmas holiday

Prison Break Season 4

The fourth season starts with Michael avenging Sara's "death", before learning that Gretchen did not kill her as he thought. Michael also learns the truth about Whistler, that he has secretly been working alongside Mahone to take down the Company. A Company operative takes Whistler's life shortly after this. Sona has burned down and Sucre, Bellick, and T-Bag have escaped during the chaos.

After returning to Chicago to look for Sara, Michael is arrested and recruited by Don Self (Michael Rapaport), a Department of Homeland Security agent, to help bring down the Company in exchange for his freedom. Lincoln, who was arrested in Panama is transferred to Chicago, and along with Mahone, Sucre, and Bellick with whom a deal is made. Also joining the group are Sara, who escaped from Gretchen which resulted in Gretchen's own captivity by the Company, having failed to secure a valuable item, and Roland (James Hiroyuki Liao), a hacker who was assigned to help them after getting arrested for identity theft.

Together, they devise a plan to retrieve Scylla, thought of as the Company's 'little black book', from the Company that will help to destroy them. In the meantime, Wyatt (Cress Williams), an agent from the Company, attempts to track Michael and Lincoln down and T-Bag heads North to the US with the "Birds" book in his possession. Michael also begins to experience some troubling health problems. On their way to Scylla, Brad Bellick sacrifices his life so that the other members of the team can reach Scylla. The general discovers that Gretchen is not on his side anymore, but does not kill her for the sake of their daughter Emily.

Michael must undergo surgery or he may die soon, and T-Bag is getting impatient for the money that he is supposed to get in exchange for Scylla. Sucre is shot once and is saved by Sara, who performs surgery on him immediately. It turns out Michael and Lincoln's mother is still alive and working with the company and has Scylla, and according to a trailer in the final six episodes Michael will be working against The Company, Lincoln, and his own mother trying to stop them from controlling Scylla

Sarah Wayne Callies is returning to Prison Break: "Prison Break is bringing back Dr. Sara Tancredi, Sarah Wayne Callies, as a regular character for season four. Olmstead makes it clear that isn't Sara's head after all, and she's been alive, although not necessarily well, this whole time."

The Mystery of Bruce Lee's Death

He died in Hong Kong during just before the release of Enter the Dragon and while he was working on and off with his unfinished movie with a Master at each level of the Pagoda.

He went to his friends house where he lied down with a head ache and died of a brain Anuerism possibly.

This is what official records have to say on it.
"On July 20, 1973, Lee was in Hong Kong, due to have dinner with former James Bond star George Lazenby, with whom he intended to make a film. According to Lee's wife Linda, Lee met producer Raymond Chow at 2 p.m. at home to discuss the making of the movie Game of Death. They worked until 4 p.m. and then drove together to the home of Lee's colleague Betty Ting Pei, a Taiwanese actress who was to have a leading role in the film. The three went over the script at her home, and then Chow left to attend a dinner meeting.

A short time later, Lee complained of a headache, and Ting Pei gave him an analgesic. At around 7:30 p.m., he laid down for a nap. After Lee did not turn up for dinner, Chow came to the apartment but could not wake Lee up. A doctor was summoned, who spent ten minutes attempting to revive him before sending him by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. However, Lee was dead by the time he reached the hospital. There was no visible external injury; however, his brain had swollen considerably, from 1,400 to 1,575 grams (a 13% increase). Lee was thirty-two years old. On October 15, 2005, Chow stated in an interview that Lee was allergic to Equagesic. When the doctors announced Bruce Lee's death officially, it was coined as "Death by Misadventure."

Another theory is that he died from an allergic reaction to marijuana, which he was consuming at the time in hashish form. [20]. This is controversial, but it is confirmed that the coroner did find traces of the substance during his autopsy. [21] [22]

However, the exact details of Lee's death are controversial. Bruce Lee's iconic status and unusual death at a young age led many people to develop many theories about his death. Such theories about his death included murder involving the triads, a curse on Lee and his family, etc. The theory of the curse carried over to Lee's son Brandon Lee, also an actor, who died 20 years after his father in a bizarre accident while filming The Crow.

Upon his death his wife, Linda, returned to her home town of Seattle and had Bruce buried at lot 276 of Lakeview Cemetery. His son Brandon is buried beside him. Pallbearers at his funeral on July 31, 1973 included Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Dan Inosanto, Taky Kimura, Peter Chin, and his brother, Robert Lee. To this day, over 30 years after his death, fresh flowers are found on his gravestone every day.

Tom Bleeker, ex-husband of Linda Lee Cadwell (Bruce's widow) wrote a Book entitled "Unsettled Matters" which claimed that Bruce had used steroids in his lifetime. Bleeker offered a $25,000 reward for anyone who could confirm his findings in his book. To this day, no one has challenged the claim or collected the cash reward."

The tragic history of Titanic
The intensely competitive transatlantic steamship business had seen recent major advances in ship design, size and speed. White Star Line, one of the leaders, determined to focus on size and elegance rather than pure speed.

In 1907, White Star Line's managing director J. Bruce Ismay and Lord James Pirrie, a partner in Harland & Wolff (White Star Line's ship-builder since its founding in 1869) conceived of three magnificent steam ships which would set a new standard for comfort, elegance, and safety.

The first two were to be named Olympic and Titanic, the latter name chosen by Ismay to convey a sense of overwhelming size and strength. It took a year to design the two ships. Construction of Olympic started in December, 1908, followed by Titanic in March 1909.

The Belfast shipyards of Harland & Wolff had to be re-designed to accommodate the immense projects while White Star's pier in New York had to be lengthened to enable the ships to dock. During the two years it took to complete Titanic's hull, the press was primed with publicity about the ship's magnificence, making Titanic virtually a legend before her launch. The "launch" of the completed steel in May, 1911, was a heavily publicized spectacle. Tickets were sold to benefit a local children's hospital.

On 10 April 1912, the Titanic commenced her maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York, with 2,227 passengers and crew aboard. At 11:40 p.m. on the night of 14 April, traveling at a speed of 20.5 knots, she struck an iceberg on her starboard bow. At 2:20 a.m. she sank, approximately 13.5 miles east-southeast of the position from which her distress call was transmitted.

There was one fictional story written by a merchant seaman by the name of Morgan Robertson. Robertson's book was about an unsinkable passenger liner that sank while carrying the elite people of the time. The ship in Robertson's story was called the Titan and the book was titled The Wreck of the Titan. Even though the book is fictitious, the events in the story parallel the events of the Titanic. Both ships were built to be unsinkable. Both ships sank after striking an iceberg. Both ships were on their maiden voyage. The most well to do famous people were on the Titan and Titanic. Only one third of the passengers on each ship survived. Both ships had an inadequate number of lifeboats. Both ships were encouraged to break speed records during their voyage. Robertson's book

The Wreck of the Titan was never published. Each time it was rejected by editor's, they told him the same thing. The story was unbelievable. Surely the events he wrote of could not possibly happen to an unsinkable ship. The book, The Wreck of the Titan was written in 1898, fourteen years before the Titanic hit an iceberg and settled on the bottom of the northern Atlantic.

Fast and Furious is the working title to an upcoming film in the The Fast and the Furious film series, the fourth produced but sequel to the first and second and prequel to the third. The film is currently in production and is scheduled for release in mid-2009. The plot connects with the original film of the series from which Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster are reprising their roles

The Plot
Brian (Paul Walker) is freed from prison, after being undercover, to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga. With the help of an informant named James Park, Brian—and ultimately Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) wins a place on the criminal's team, where he and Toretto plan to catch the man red handed. This film also shows how Han met Toretto and how he got his car (shown at the end of Tokyo Drift)[citation needed] A teaser trailer for the film was released on the 25th August 2008, it depicts Dom and a few other cast members attempting to hijack tankers of gasoline within the Dominican Republic, it also reveals that the film will be released in the summer of 2009.

* Re-installing Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.0.0 after it has been patched will generate an error
dialog at the end of the installation. This dialog can be ignored.
* Uninstalling Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 after CS4 is installed will result in AME exports in CS4 to
fail with ‘Could not read from the source’. Creating a shortcut named Premiere alongside the
dynamiclinkmanager.exe that points to the Premiere.exe will fix the problem.
* When converting Final Cut Pro project with Color correction applied, the color correction will be
incorrect within Adobe Premiere Pro.
* When converting Final Cut Pro project with Bins, the bins do not appear in Adobe Premiere Pro
unless selected in the Final Cut Pro xml export.
* Multicamera enable sequence with HDV clips does not playback as normal; severe drop frame
or stopping playback occurs
* Audio in a nested 16 channel sequence does not simultaneously playback all of its audio tracks
in the Source Monitor.
* File>Adobe Dynamic Link>Send to Encore selection is available when a 16 channel sequence
is selected; however, Adobe Encore does not support 16 channel sequences.

* Both odd and even numbered channels of a 16 channel sequence are summed to both stereo

* 16-channel selection does not appear in the Export Settings dialog Basic Audio Settings
Channels menu when a 16-channel sequence is selected.
* All channels of a 16 channel sequence are summed to Ls, Rs and Center channels when
exported as media when Audio>Basic Audio Settings>Channels is set to 5.1.
* Setting the Optimize Rendering preference to “Memory” is highly recommended when Max
Quality or Max Bit Depth rendering is on. These settings are designed for high performance
systems. Please check Adobe Online Support for recommended system requirements.
* Loading an existing project with a P2 sequence that is missing media may cause a crash.
* Adobe Premiere Pro crashes when importing AAF from Avid if it contains references to clips
with OMF audio (WAVE or AIFF).
* AAF may not provide consistent results for complex projects in formats other than DV or HDV.
